Eurotest was developed and is jointly owned by organizations in three Scandinavian countries.

Since the establishment of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in 2001, the three organizations, Folkuniversitetet in Sweden, Folkuniversitetet in Norway and Studieskolen in Denmark have been using it to guide their language instruction. As a result of this cooperation, a language test was developed based on the CEFR levels. The first test was launched in 2008.

As Eurotest is based on the CEFR levels, the test results can be used across several languages and countries.

In 2019, the test was modernized and updated in terms of its language and graphic content. The current version of Eurotest was launched on 1st June , 2020.

Studieskolen

Studieskolen is a non-profit organization, which has been teaching languages, developed didactics within the field of language teaching and upholding the importance of Danish and foreign languages since 1977. Today Studieskolen offers courses in more than 30 languages and teaches more than 8,000 individuals, professionals and expats per year.

Studieskolen’s aim is to improve the language skills of Danes and expats.
